What we did...

The Gailer School began the project with a student government structures in place. Over the course of the project we re-structured our governing bodies to increase the amount of student voice within the school. We took particular interest in school culture and how to involve students in decision- making processes that involved our culture, such as senior privileges and student representatives to the Board of Trustees.

The Lake Champlain Waldorf High School joined the project with the specific goal of creating a student government. The work that they did throughout the course of this project eventually led to school-wide discussions, surveys, and petitions. Their school government was approved by their administration.
