Why Democracy?
In order for students to become contributing members of their communities,they must experience democracy, democratic ideals, and democratic practices within their schools.
School cultures must shift to allow students to take responsibility and ownership for the way that their schools are run.
Students participating in Real Democracy/Real Stakeholders worked as a team to develop the guidelines used to begin to affect this change within their high schools.
