Gailer Students

Gailer's small size allows each student to develop their own individuality and voice. Students get to know themselves, their teachers and each other well, as they are involved as active members of a small community. Gailer attracts and encourages students who develop and pursue unique passions, such as figure skating, ornithology, violin, service projects and theater lighting. Students come to Gailer from many different backgrounds ranging from home school to traditional public schools to international schools.

International Students

Each year, Gailer enrolls several international students who live with host families and take classes alongside students from Vermont. These students gain the experience of a year abroad in a school setting often unlike their previous schools, in addition to helping challenge Gailer students to think globally as they develop as insightful world citizens. This year, Gailer is hosting students from South Korea, Lebanon, Turkey, and Japan.
