Community Events

Morning Meeting

We come together as a community each morning for Morning Meeting. We hear from any member of the school with inspiration, song or an announcement. We also work together as a community, to solve a problem that the school may be facing, or to celebrate a landmark event in the life of the school or one of its members.

Social Events

Gailer also values getting students together in safe social settings, so we offer coffee houses, plays and dances, among other events. These events are inspired by the students' initiative and creativity and are supported by the Gailer faculty.

Community Days

Several times a year, the whole school gathers together for teambuilding activites which include all grade levels. In the first week of school, students and faculty navigate initiative games and challenges at Kingsland Bay State Park. In the last week of school we gather at Kingsland Bay again to celebrate the year with group games and reflection.
